sonic- for sale
2022, 16.2h (still growing!) dapple grey gelding by City of Light (Quality Road), out of a Tapit mare- See pedigree here.
Very rarely do I get horses in my barn that are true upper-level quality prospects- and I do NOT use that term lightly. Well let me tell you, if you’re looking for an uncommonly nice sport horse prospect, this is it. He's one of the nicest I've ever had here. And don't hesitate, because I don’t expect he will be available for long.
Sonic is an extremely impressive, jaw-dropping specimen of a young horse that looks and moves like a warmblood. He is impeccably put together, with a long sloping shoulder, a gorgeous natural topline, including the most elegant neck, a robust hindquarter that will surely be able to jump a big fence one day, and plenty of bone On top of that, Sonic has a HUGE, goofy personality that is sure to capture the heart of anyone who meets him- he is a real character! He currently stands at 16.2 but is very much still growing, and I expect he will finish right around 17 hands.
Sonic possesses expressive, uphill balanced gaits, with suspension, cadence, and athleticism that will lend itself to excelling in sport. He moves nicely off the leg, has a lovely, soft mouth, and carries himself in the most pleasant, enjoyable way that is just a delight to ride. He takes up the leg well with his substantial stature, and feels like a real solid horse underneath you, all while being super fancy, light and soft.
Sonic is a true upper level quality horse, suitable for a capable, ambitious amateur in a program to bring along- but also absolutely fancy and athletic enough to be a professional’s ride. This is not a horse for your child, or 75 year old grandmother, or as a backyard trail pony- I have had many horses come through here that would be suitable for those types of jobs, but this guy is not that- He is destined for bigger things.
Sonic has clean legs, good feet (only shod up front), and no vices. He is easy to handle in the barn, stands at the mounting block and for the farrier, and is the type of horse you could forget about on the crossties and he will still be standing there patiently. He is just a pleasant, easy guy to be around, with the biggest, sweetest personality. Sonic will be a showstopper wherever he goes- pictures don’t do him justice.

Soup - for sale
2015, 17h (approx) bay gelding by Get Stormy (Stormy Atlantic) - see pedigree here.
Soup is a huge, attractive, well put together guy that has a larger than life presence and tons of character. He is built like a tank, with lots of bone and substance, plus a big, thick barrel. Soup was very lightly raced as a young horse, then spent the last 5 years hanging out at the breeder’s farm, who owned him for his entire life. He is taking to being restarted quite naturally so far. Soup is straightforward under saddle, with three lovely, comfortable gaits. He moves nicely off the leg and is learning about half halts, lateral suppleness, and working over his topline.
Soup is the half brother of Adriana’s spectacular young horse, Jett, who has proven himself as a winning event horse, dressage horse, and fox hunter due to his athleticism and eagerness to learn. I believe that Soup also possesses these same traits and versatility, and will be a phenomenal all around horse for anyone to bring along in their chosen discipline(s).
He is still learning about the cross ties, but is a quick learner and I expect with some more time and patience, he will figure it out- cross-tying is just something that was never expected of him in his previous life.
Soup has clean legs, good feet (only shod up front), and no vices. He is an easy keeper, and turns out well with others in a mixed herd.
